The Products:
The Monavie products feature a blend of acai berry and other so-called nutrient-dense fruits. MonaVie claims that their juice provides antioxidants and phytonutrients you need to maintain a healthy lifestyle, which may contribute to the Mona Vie Scam finger pointing. Business Opportunity and Compensation Plan:
MonaVie runs on a typical residual income, multi-level model that requires an agent to recruit 2 "legs" or lower level marketers before they see any meaningful results. Commissions to this marketing structure can amount to 50% of the sale price and definitely contributes to the $40 price tag of the juice. Here are some ways a distributor can get paid using the MonaVie Business Model.
DIRECT SALES & PREFERRED CUSTOMER BONUS – Face-to-face retail sales allows a distributor to earn income by buying MonaVie products themselves at the wholesale price, & then re-selling the products at a retail price. In addition to retail sales, a distributor can enroll preferred customers & earn a Preferred Customer Bonus on every purchase they make. The Preferred Customer Bonus is computed as 50% of the Preferred Customer Personal Volume. When a preferred customer orders a case of juice, a distributor would earn a $25 Preferred Customer Bonus.
BULK ORDER BONUS – Each time someone whom a distributor has personally sponsored places an eligible bulk order (3,6, or 12 cases), the distributor receives a Bulk Order Bonus of up to $75 if they are active with 200 PV, and only up to $30 if you are active with 100PV.
STAR MAKER BONUS – Active and qualified distributors with at least 100 PV can earn the Star Maker Bonus. Each time one of the distributors personally sponsored distributors reaches the rank of Star, the distributor earns a $20 Star Maker Bonus from their sales. If they are active and qualified with 200 PV, they earn a $40 Star Maker Bonus from their sales.
TEAM BONUSES – The team bonus aspect of the plan is calculated from the distributors placement tree, which has two legs, left and right. The distributor will be compensated based on successfully building sales volume within their placement tree. As their group begins to grow, they are entitled to team bonuses based on the total sales volume generated in their lesser leg. Calculating team bonuses : A distributor must be active and have at least one personally sponsored and active distributor on both their left and right legs to be eligible to earn team bonuses. In addition, they must have a minimum of 500 GV on each of their placement tree legs in the bonus week. Once the distributor reaches 500 GV on their lesser leg, team bonuses are paid on that leg as well as matching volume on their greater leg.
